A Good Bike Day

After what had seemed like a really long time we at last got out on the bikes yesterday.
The weather was good to us if not a little on the cold side later on in the day.
We were pleased we had chosen to wear or textile yellow jackets and not our leather ones.
Phil and i called in to see my mom on the way to Wolverhampton and B.C.M Training.
It had been a while since we had seen our friends there.
Kev and Steve were hard at it (training) and Carl arrived with a group of trainees after about an hour.
I got talked into making the coffeeOpen-mouthed smile and we had a good chat and put the biking world to right.
Since the new test can into force in early 2009 the number of people coming through the training centres has dropped dramatically.
The test is a lot harder than it ever used to be.

We then headed to Halesowen and Street Bike as we had arranged to meet Rachael and Ian there.
Rachael wanted to buy silk liners for her gloves( inner gloves that fit inside )
Kayley was tempted to part chop her bike for a Honda….lol
Then it was what is the almost compulsory trip to the Bridgnorth Bike Cafe for a little light refreshmentSmile
Yeh ok a cheese burger and chipsWink with a mug of tea.

We ended up riding back to Rachael and Ians place in Great Barr for a drink before heading home as it started to get dusk.
It was just after 7.00pm when we arrived back at moms. We got her to take a pic as we had not taken any except for the one at Street Bike.
It had been a good bike day!!!
